As you look at this picture you see the new covenant fulfilling the old covenant. The priest is turning his attention and worship as Jesus ascends from the mercy seat where He has applied His blood for the sins of all . The Shekinah glory of the Lord is depicted here as the Glory of the Father arising as it is revealed through the Son and ascending on the Son by the Holy Spirit represented by the Dove above Jesus "The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, And all flesh shall see it together.."
